This research aims to analyze the multicultural and spiritual values contained in the religious tourism of the Virgin Mary Statue in Gurita Bay and see its relationship to community life and strengthening national identity in the Indonesia-Timor Leste border area. This research uses a literature study method with a qualitative approach. The results of the research show that the religious tourism of the Virgin Mary Statue at Gurita Bay is a meeting place for various groups of people who come from various social backgrounds, cultures and different community identities. The statue of the Virgin Mary is a symbol of peace and unity in the Indonesia-Timor Leste border area. Through religious activities, going to the statue of the Virgin Mary can strengthen kinship relations and social harmony and can be a means of unifying society even though they live in different countries.
