Abstract

Advent is a time of preparation for Christmas for Catholics. During this preparation period, the Kupang Archdiocese Catechetical Commission distributed Bible-based catechetical materials to encourage people to read, reflect on and love the Holy Bible as the Word of God that speaks to humans. The people at KUB St. Robertus Belarminus hope that in order to be able to understand the catechesis material, they need a facilitator who is able to act as a guide and motivator, so the PkM team will be the answer to the people's hopes. The aim of this service activity is, apart from studying the Holy Bible as a source of faith and inspiration for life and preparing themselves well for Christmas, people can also increase their self-confidence and courage in practicing ketechesis and sharing experiences of faith. The methods used are lectures, discussions and sharing of faith. As a result, the people understand well the catechesis material during Advent, have a sense of self-confidence and courage in sharing their faith and can prepare themselves well for Christmas
